Let’s do this!
I’M AMELIA
I was fifteen years old when I started taking an interest in photography. At the time, one of my friends had a dark room and we would spend hours taking and experimenting with photos. Architectural photography is initially what sparked my interest and got me excited. When I was sixteen years old, I visited my dad in Kenya, where he was working as a professional hot-air balloon pilot. I was captivated by the people, animals, culture, and the stories behind it all. My trip to Kenya was a pivotal point in my life, as it further fueled my love for photography. When I returned to the States, I worked hard to save money and bought my first 35mm film camera. I joined the yearbook staff and took photos whenever I could. In 2009, Amelia Anne Photography was established.
Photography is truly a part of me and who I am as an individual and I am honored to get to have a career as a photographer.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my daughters, my husband, and my menagerie of animals. I also love traveling and exploring new places.
Let me help you feel
ALIVE
We, as women, can be hard on ourselves, so being able to capture the beauty that shines from each of my clients is a gift. It’s a gift that is given multiple times throughout the process. The first is seeing our clients who walk into the studio maybe nervous or unsure, walk out with their heads held high knowing they are beautiful, finding confidence and excitement about what they just accomplished.
After a session, we will walk our clients through a cinematic reveal where they get to see the photos of themselves and realize just how beautiful they are. It’s not uncommon to hear people say “WOW, that’s me?”.
The last gift I usually see is when the product is delivered. Our clients see the prints or albums and are excited to share them with a significant other.
I love photographing boudoir. It is rewarding on so many levels! The gifts that my clients get through the experience and process are priceless! I look forward to experiencing that with you.
